The leggy ones above weren't stuffed and are a wonderful squishy fleshy texture :} Then i started stuffing them with a wadded up ball of dyed scrap and leaving the top open, strange cysts or rather moldy growths, as in this piece they are springing up out of the "ground".

Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty darn gorgeous mold!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mieke and Bev :} Technically these aren't "fyberspaces" on their own, but rather attached to a larger work that while dimensional, doesn't have a 3d form.
ReplyDeleteWonderful inspiring work, really really love it! Carolyn
ReplyDeleteboy, your mold is way more attractive than the kind i seem to grow...:) and the lumps bumps & nodules are beautiful - i'm really wishing i could pick them up and hold them...awesome work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carolyn and Deb :}
ReplyDeleteDeb, they are SO tactile and squishy!
the texture on these is amazing, I would love to run my fingers over them!
